About Trent

 

        Trent A. Schuler, CFP®, RFC®, CFS®, is the President/CEO of Schuler Financial Group, a Springfield-based financial planning firm specializing in comprehensive financial, retirement income, and estate planning.

        Trent is a member of the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants, Inc. (IARFC), The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), and the  Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce.

He earned his BA in Business-Marketing from Wright State University in 1990, and holds professional designations as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™  (CFP®), Registered Financial Consultant (RFC®), and Certified Funds Specialist (CFS®).

“Financial Security Through Education” is the core philosophy of Schuler Financial Group.  We believe that the journey to financial security begins with a good understanding of financial and investment basics that will enable us to help you with the details.  Trent has previously instructed educational seminars at Wittenberg University, Clark State Community College, and Urbana University, including Successful Money Management Seminar®, Wealth Advantage™, and Financial Strategies for Successful Retirement®.  Public retirement income seminars are conducted on a quarterly basis at the Schuler Seminar Center,  which is part of our office complex created to serve the future financial needs of Springfield and surrounding communities.

     Mr. Schuler is also the CEO and owner of Schuler’s Bakery, Inc. Trent enjoys golfing, bowling, playing in poker tournaments, and watching movies. He resides in Springfield with his wife Melissa, and between them, they have seven children: Jessie, Hannah, Alex, Samuel, Wesley, Isaac, and Austin.
